Open Casting Calls for Commericals

Written by info on December 25th, 2009 in Comerciales Famosos.

When you go to casting calls for TV commercials you will definitely see the casting directors and staff and quite possibly the TV producers. It’s crucial that you respect everyone there and don’t just kiss up to the casting directors. You never really know what role any one can play.

Find a list of auditions for commercials here.

The casting directors at the audition will have seen a lot of people. This means that you don’t want to push any buttons to irritate the casting directors even more. The worst is if you don’t come prepared or if you waste someone’s time. If you manage to piss someone off, you’ll also lose your chance at that role.

Be nice and smile to the casting directors when you introduce yourself and have a headshot photo with your information and your agent’s information on it. If you have hired an agent, pass that information to the staff there so they can contact you later. If you don’t have an agent now, note that they take about 10% from your paycheck only if they get you that job.

You may be asked to do a lot of things to prepare for the commercial role. To keep on your toes, you should take an improv class so that you can think quickly. You may be asked to read lines from the commercials for the casting directors to decide if you are good for the role or not.

Be sure to always be friendly and don’t forget to smile. I wish you the best of luck in your search for TV commercial audition and hopefully I’ll see you on TV soon.
